About Samira

Samira Gagné Ludwin is a Los Angeles-based interior and product designer and the founder of Neon Gold Interiors and Maman Rugs. Samira studied Industrial Design at the Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, New York.

She has worked as a product designer for Macy's, Kohl's, and the Home Depot, collaborating on innovative and commercially successful product lines with Martha Stewart, Jennifer Lopez, The Food Network, and many others. 

Prior to Neon Gold, Samira co-founded Sunday's Best, a jewelry line distributed by boutiques such as Opening Ceremony and Selfridges. She has also worked as a set decorator for TV and film.

Samira has lived in Bata, Montreal, Tucson, Toronto, New York, and Los Angeles, but currently calls San Francisco home.
